40º Peoples Choice Awards
O ano das premiações em Hollywood começou com nomes de peso do entretenimento, que se reuniram no Nokia Theatre em Los Angeles (CA) na noite de ontem (08), para a premiação mais democrática do entretenimento, o Peoples Choice Awards(PCA).
Em sua 40ª edição, a premiação mostra que, a cada edição, vem se tornando - cada vez - mais respeitada e concorrida, já que os vencedores são escolhidos pelo público, através de votação na internet.
São 58 premiados, em uma única noite. Os vencedores são divididos nas categorias de TV(29), música(14) e cinema(15).
Alguns premiados surgem de categorias que fogem do padrão, como Bromance Favorito na TV (bromance é a relação amigável entre homens) que ficou com o trio de Supernatural e Gal Pals Favorito na TV que ficou com as meninas da série Glee (gal pals – quando a relação amigável é entre mulheres).
Com a produção impecável de séries na internet a premiação também criou a categoria Série Favorita em Streaming, que ficou com a aclamada Orange Is The New Black, produzida pela Netflix e que já tem 2º temporada confirmada para este ano.
Os grandes nomes da noite foram o de Sandra Bullock, que saiu com quatro estatuetas na mão, Justin Timberlake, que levou 3 estatuetas e apresentadora mais querida da América Ellen Degeneres, que cravou um recorde no Peoples Choice, ao se tornar a mulher mais premiada, somando um total de 14 troféus, ao levar o prêmio de Apresentadora Preferida pelo público.
A emoção ficou por conta da talentosíssima Jennifer Hudson, que levou o prêmio de Humanitária do Ano, com o projeto que beneficia crianças e que foi criado por ela, após uma tragédia que atingiu sua família.
A edição deste ano, contou com a apresentação das atrizes Kat Dennings e Beth Behrs, da série 2 Broke Girls. Além das apresentadoras oficiais, o evento ainda contou com a participação de nomes como Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears (quem, aparentemente só chegou para pegar seu prêmio de Artista Pop Preferida e partir em seguida) e Heidi Klum. Os shows, que poderiam ser mais empolgantes, ficaram por conta de Sara Bareilles, One Republic e Brad Paisley.
